Renee had had many bad haircuts on her curly hair, so she resorted to
letting it grow and clipping it up to imitate a shorter look. Her color was
getting too light as the grey grew in. I gave her a string cut by cutting
varying lengths into the layers, which allows the ends to be weightless and
in turn softens the curl. I then matched her haircolor to her eyebrows,
giving her back the contrast she once had. Her makeup was minimal: a full
coverage foundation, mascara, blush and pink lip gloss.
